Job Description:

Position Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Work in conjunction with the SAPU to implement protective security requirements for Queensland Rail assets/sites, including:-Assisting managers in the implementation of security plans & risk treatments for risk identified through the Security Risk Management Program.Coordination of asset based protective security projects in conjunction with asset/site security operations managers.Assisting in the development of site/asset security specificationsDevelopment of funding submissions in partnership with Asset owners and project managers.
- Provide policy and procedural advice to managers and staff in relevant areas of Queensland Rail.
- Develop and implement new practices and procedures which ensure the effectiveness and safety of security related business activities.
- Carry out risk assessments and other activities that ensure the Security Business Program team meets its obligations as well as assisting Queensland Rail customers and stakeholders in meeting their obligations.
Key Selection Criteria
- Ability to work autonomously and achieve deadlines, whilst contributing positively to the overall team environment.
- Show initiative to drive and develop a security program of work within an assigned portfolio, in conjunction with supporting teams.
- Ability to engage and cultivate productive working relationships at all levels across the business.
- High level of understanding of security risk management methodologies and the ability to deliver tailored solutions to the complexities of a rail environment.
- High level of written communication skills including the delivery of executive level documentation.

Due to business requirements and ongoing projects, this role is to commence no sooner than Monday 9th October 2017 in a Fixed Term Position until Friday 17th August, 2018.
